How to make a QR code or barcode

  1. Pick a QR type - Text/URL, WiFi, Contact, Email, SMS, Phone or Calendar Event - or switch to the Barcode tab.
  2. Fill in the fields, then optionally add a logo, pick colors, and choose a size.
  3. Preview updates live. Download as PNG or SVG, or turn on Batch mode to generate many at once from a list or CSV.

Is this QR code generator really free?

Yes - every feature here (logo embedding, WiFi/vCard/email/SMS/event types, SVG export, and CSV batch generation) is free with no sign-up, no watermark, and no limit on how many codes you generate.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No. Every QR code and barcode is generated entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript - nothing you type or upload (including logo images and CSV files) is ever sent to a server.

Do these QR codes expire or get tracked?

No. These are static QR codes - the data is encoded directly into the code itself, so it works forever and is not routed through any tracking or redirect service.

How do I make a WiFi QR code?

Choose "WiFi" as the QR type, enter your network name (SSID), password and encryption type, and the QR code updates instantly. Scanning it with a phone camera joins the network directly - no typing the password.

Can I add my logo to a QR code for free?

Yes - use the "Add logo" option under any QR type. The generator automatically raises the error-correction level so the code still scans reliably with a logo covering part of it.

Can I generate many QR codes or barcodes at once?

Yes - turn on Batch mode, paste a list of values (or drop a CSV), and it generates one QR code or barcode per value and downloads them all as a single ZIP file.

What is the difference between the web version and the VadeKit desktop app?
